In rare cases it might happen that your oral samples did not contain sufficient cells to obtain enough DNA for the analysis. Additionally, after your DNA is sequenced, we might see the presence of non-human DNA (e.g. fungi or bacteria) which influences diagnosis. In very rare cases there might also be a logistic shipment failure or a human mistake during processing of your sample. In such cases, we will contact you and ask you for another sample. You will receive new saliva collectors and return envelopes to provide us the new samples.
